Candy Welner has been teaching private piano lessons and theory lessons for over 30 years. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music at the University of Toronto, and The School of Fine Arts at York University. Her teachers included Harvey Silver, Jazz pianist Alan Ray, and Earle Moss. She has studied piano pedagogy extensively, and is continually updating her teaching style in conformance with the latest research. She enjoys utilizing technology to make her teaching more effective and fun for her students, and believes in individualized teaching to meet the needs of each student. She teaches students of all ages, from the youngest beginners to adults of all ages.
